Leona B. Dost
Leona B. Dost, 77, of Metz Township passed away early Sunday morning August 10, 2014 at her home.
The daughter of John and Lottie (Politowski) Hazinski was born January 27, 1937 in Detroit. She married Andrew Dost August 21, 1954 together they raised four daughters. She had a part in starting the Posen first responders and enjoyed bowling. Surviving are her husband, Andrew; four daughters, Rose (Stan) Rustic of Sanford, Mary Dost of Oakland Park, Florida, Susan (Rod) Paavo of Clinton Township, and Andrea (Mike) Flewelling of Presque Isle; a brother, John (Beverly) Hazinski of Metamora; a sister, Florence (Leary) Jones of Bath; and five grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are in care of Hentkowski Funeral Home, the family of Leona is having a private service at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Ignatius Catholic School.
