Eric ‘Rick’ P. Boucher

Eric Paul Boucher “Rick,” 61, of Kalkaska, formerly of Millersburg, died unexpectedly at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City Saturday, August 23, 2014. The son of Leonard and Joyce (Freel) Boucher, Rick was born in Rogers City December 6, 1952 and raised in Millersburg. He was a 1971 graduate of Onaway High School and continued his education at Olivet College, earning his bachelor’s degree in 1975.

Surviving Rick are his daughter, Erica Jaskolski (David Keller) of Alpena; sons, Michael Boucher (Alexandra Husseini) of Madison Heights and Bradley Kinasz (Dana Dean) of Brant; and the grandchildren he adored, Kayla, Ally, Natalie, Bryce, Morgan, Blaise, Chloe and Dylan. Rick also leaves his brother, Ross (Julie) Boucher of Petoskey; sisters, Judy (Frank) Hale of Tower, Carol Northcott of Onaway, Sarah (Bruce) LeCureux of Onaway, and Jean Boucher of Cheboygan; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rick’s family will receive friends at the Ocqueoc Baptist Church Saturday, Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service beginning at 11 a.m.  The Rev. Ken Marsh will officiate and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5857 will provide military honors. Rick’s final resting place will be at Riverside Cemetery in Millersburg.
