Wallace Max Roeske
Wallace Max Roeske, 87, of Rogers City, passed away July 18, 2014 at Alpena Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 26, 1927 in Moltke Township to Max and Eveline (Tulgetske) Roeske.
Mr. Roeske is survived by five children, Pauline (David) Walker of Oxford, Victor (Patricia) Roeske of North Branch, Charlene (Steve) Miller of Concord, Ohio, Laurine (Ted) Domke of Wasilla, Alaska and Eric Roeske of Patchogue, New York; two granddaughters, Alison Roeske of Monrovia, California and Rachel Roeske of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; a brother, Raymond (Betty) Roeske of Moltke; and a sister, Elda Thomas of Clearwater, Florida.
Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Tuesday with a prayer service that evening. Visitation resumed Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moltke through the time of funeral with the Rev. Dr. Jack D. Ferguson officiating.
Military Honors were offered by the Rogers City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 607 during graveside services at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery immediately following the church service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Hospice of Michigan.
