Viola E. Soper

Viola E. Soper, 91, of Rogers City, passed away July 29, 2014 at Birch Lane AFC Home.

She was born August 17, 1922 in Rogers City to Robert and Meta (Hopp) Radke.

Mrs. Soper is survived by two children, Robert I. Soper of Scottsdale, Arizona and Jane E. LaLonde of Centreville, Virginia; five grandchildren, Scott Roberts, Jennifer Caron, Jennifer (Corey) Curtis, Katie Ries and Adam LaLonde; and two great-grandchildren, Nolan and Heidi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan; and a sister Myrtle Grigg.

Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Thursday. Visitation resumed Friday at St. John Lutheran Church through time of funeral with the Rev. Barton Gray officiating.

Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery.
