Bonnie E. and Robert W. Pines
Bonnie H. Parsons, 82, of Rogers City passed away January 7, 2014 at Rogers City Tendercare. She was born September 3, 1931 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Irving and Esther (Ross) Haynes.
Robert W. Parsons, 86, of Rogers City passed away June 7, 2014 at Rogers City Tendercare. He was born December 26, 1927 in Ossining, New York to Earle and Elsie (Brown) Parsons.
Bonnie and Robert are survived by two children, Bob Jr. (Barbara) of Clinton Township and Diane Thoma of Mill Creek, Washington; six grandchildren, Anne, Katie, Rachel, Jessica, Matthew and Mike; Bonnie is survived by a brother, Donald Hayes; Robert is survived by two siblings, Richard Parsons and Patricia (Thomas) Willis.
Robert and Bonnie were married October 27, 1951 in Niagara Falls, New York.
Friends may visit at the Westminster Presbyterian Church Saturday, July 19, from noon through time of their memorial service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Robert Case officiating. Rogers City Veterans of Foreign Wars will accord military honors immediately following.
Inurnment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Hillside, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given Westminster Presbyterian Church.
