Hurons take first game of regional.

A clutch hit by senior shortstop Courtney Streich sent the Hurons’ softball team into the regional finals Saturday in Rogers City. They survived a bases loaded, no-out situation in the top of the seventh and came back in the bottom of the frame to get the win. They play the winner of the Inland Lakes vs. Norway game, which began at noon Saturday.
