Dale C. Tucker
Dale C. Tucker, known to the community as “Jack” Tucker, 86, lifelong resident of Onaway/Tower died at home Monday June 2, 2014. The son of Norman and Bertha (Pollock) Tucker, Jack was born in Tower September 1, 1927. He married Emma B. St. Germain in Onaway September 2, 1944.
Surviving are his wife of nearly 70 years, Emma Tucker of Onaway; three sons, Terry (Sherry) of Onaway, Wayne (Fawn) of Indian River and Jack Tucker of Onaway. He also leaves seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by an infant son, Daniel Glen Tucker in 1951; five brothers; and seven sisters.
A Celebration of Life Memorial gathering will be held at the Forest Township Community Hall (Tower Hall) Sunday June 22, 2014 where Jack’s family will receive friends from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Donations to honor the memory of Jack Tucker should be made to Hospice of the Straits or to the Onaway Ambulance Equipment Fund.
