RCHS Class of 2014 to graduate Sunday

The 54 members of the Class of 2014 will receive their diplomas Sunday at Rogers City High School. Principal David O’Bryant will introduce the graduates in the commencement ceremony beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the high school gymnasium.

Valedictory addresses will be given by Cynthia Kerr and Christopher Wilk with Morgan Hall delivering the salutatory address. The high school band, under the direction of Edward Wilbert, will play several selections.

Board of education president Michael Marx will pass out the diplomas. School board members Lee Gapczynski, Bryan Hall, Cory Budnick, John Krajenta, Donald Kromer and Deedra Schalk-Haselhuhn will assist him.

Class officers for the graduating seniors are Megan Quaine, president; Connor Flanagan, vice president; Taylor Rhode, secretary; and Rebecca Myers, treasurer.

Class night is set for tonight (Thursday) highlighted by an awards ceremony led by school counselor Marilyn Dimick and a slideshow prepared by Morgan Hall.
