Hayden S. Whitman

Hayden S. Whitman, 73, a lifelong resident of Tower, died at Tendercare Health Center in Cheboygan Saturday, April 5, 2014. The son of Archie and Martha (Sands) Whitman, Hayden was born July 3, 1940 in Tower.

Surviving Hayden are two sisters, Edna Hillis of Tower and Wilma (David) Wahlers of Onaway; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Hayden was preceded in death by his brother, Oscar and by his parents.

Visitation and the funeral service were held at the Chagnon Funeral Home Tuesday April 8, 2014. Elder Florence Hughes officiated. Hayden’s final resting place will be in Tower at Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Donations to honor the memory of Hayden Whitman should be made to the Onaway Ambulance Equipment Fund.
