Undefeated Lady Vikings win district title

The Posen Viking girls’ basketball team tied a school record with its 23rd win. They did it Friday night in the district championship game played at Wolverine by knocking off Onaway, 62-36.

Ashley Meyer shad the best shooting night of her career with five 3-pointers and a game-high 27 points.

Following the game, the Viking players and coaches gathered to celebrate the program’s fifth consecutive district championship (pictured above). The Vikings advance to the regional tournament Tuesday night at Pellston and get the home school. Posen will be seeking its first regional title next week.
