After a long layoff which saw two games get cancelled the Rogers City Hurons girls’ basketball team finally started the 2014 portion of the season. The Hurons had games canceled last Monday and Friday but hosted Whittemore-Prescott (WP) Tuesday.

Finally back at full strength the Huron girls wasted little time getting going as junior Logan Fleming reached the line just six seconds into the game and hit one of two making it 1-0. The Hurons would never trail in the game. Using the press the Hurons got two quick buckets by Morgan Hall with assists coming from Fleming and Courtney Streich to take a 5-0 lead.
