Lillian E. Hammar
Lillian E. Hammar, 92, of Linden, died December 26, 2013.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday, December 30, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Visitation was held Saturday and Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden until the time of Mass Monday at church. Those desiring may make contributions to Loose Senior Center or St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Lillian was born April 29, 1921 in Rogers City, the daughter of Howard E. and Mary (Martin) Johnson. She was married to Dana D. Hammar who preceded her in death in 1980.
Surviving are her daughters, Judy Kneeshaw, Patricia Hammar, Diane (Larry) Tasselmyer and Carol Conrad; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Phillip Johnson of Arkansas, Bernard Johnson of California; and many nieces and nephews.
