Adeline Ida Pieczynski

Adeline Ida Pieczynski, 100, of Posen, passed away December 19, 2013 at Rogers City Tendercare.

She was born February 9, 1913 in Detroit to Joseph and Frances (Smolinski) Krawczak.

She is survived by six children, Marvin (Blanch) Pieczynski of Presque Isle, Lorraine (Al) Orban of Presque Isle, Norman (Betty) Pieczynski of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, Shirley (Larry) Lynn of Williamsburg, Virginia, Adelore (Beverly) Pieczynski of Posen and Gary (Loretta) Pieczynski of Posen; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mabel Lewandowski.

Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Friday where the Rosary Sodality led the rosary followed by the parish wake. Visitation resumed Saturday at St. Casimir Catholic Church until time of Mass with the Rev. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.

Interment will take place at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.
