Rose (Purol) Bruning
Rose (Purol) Bruning, 83, of Alpena, passed away Saturday evening November 23, 2013 at Tendercare in Alpena.
Daughter of the late Leon and Constance (Nowaczewski) Purol was born on September 3, 1930 in Posen.
Surviving are two sons, Mike (Jackie Spens) of Onaway and Brian (Raul Rocha) of Oakland, California; two daughters, Collen (John) Fann of Williamston and Maureen (Todd) Ferstle of Rochester Hills; five grandsons Matthew, Lyle, Eric, Ken and Joseph; three great-grandchildren, Lorelai, Jack and Audrina; a special niece, Catherine Swan; and a sister, Elenora Spisak of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Visitation was Tuesday, November 26, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Hentkowski Funeral Home with the Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continued Wednesday at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Metz from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Mass with the Rev. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating. Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. Ignatius Catholic School or Hospice of Michigan.
