Allie I. Brege

Allie I. Brege, 91, of Frankenmuth, formerly of Wakefield, Bessemer, Frankentrost and Rogers City, was called home by her Lord Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center Cooper. Allie Ahonen was born April 7, 1922, to the late K. Hjalmer and Lempi (Anderson) Ahonen.

Surviving are three daughters, Paula Jarvi of Clio, Marjorie Jarvi Rafferty of Orlando, Florida and Vernice (Robert) Hoyt of Ames, Iowa; two grandchildren, Elisabeth (Gregory) Kline of Reminderville, Ohio and Jonathan Hoyt of Dubuque, Iowa; a great-grandchild, Avery Kline; a sister, Ruth (Louis) Keppers of Duluth, Minnesota; two brothers, Reino Ahonen of Minneapolis, Minnestoa and R. Daniel (Bev) Ahonen of Wakefield; and many nieces and nephews and their progeny.

Funeral services took place Tuesday, November 26, at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St.  The Rev. Joel C. Kaiser officiated with burial to take place at a later date in Rogers City.
