A speedy Whittemore-Prescott Cardinal team took the wind out of the sails of the Hurons Friday. Whittemore (5-2) pleased its homecoming crowd with a 44-6 win over Rogers City (3-4).

The Hurons only score came on a 1-yard run from quarterback Quintin Kelly in the third quarter. The TD was set up on kickoff return from Chris Lopez which got the ball to the Whittemore 35 yard-line and a 16-yard pass from Kelly to Cameron Urban.
