Lila E. McClanahan

Lila E. (Veihl) McClanahan, 100, of Tower, died December 31, 2012 at Bay Bluffs Care Facility in Harbor Springs. The daughter of Carl and Louise (Latsch) Veihl, Lila was born in Boyne City August 4, 1912. She and Max Ennes were married in Tower in 1930.

Surviving Lila are her husband of 58 years, Carl “Mac” McClanahan of Tower; a daughter, Etta Walters of Onaway; a son, Frank (Audra) Ennes of Sebring, Florida; and a brother, Woodrow (Arla) Veihl of Tower. She also leaves numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
