OHS track teams gears up for postseason; regionals today

The Onaway High School track team will participate in three of the biggest meets of the season in the week ahead, beginning today (Friday) with the regional meet at Mancelona.

Those who finish in the top two in an event will qualify for state. Those who finish outside the top two also can qualify based on meeting pre-determined times or distances.

On Monday, the Cardinals will match up against the Hurons and Vikings at the annual Presque Isle County Championships in Posen, and on Wednesday they’ll be at the Ski Valley Conference Championships at Mancelona.
