George O. Freel

George O. Freel “Darky” died at Rogers City Tendercare Friday April 12, 2013 at the age of 93.

Surviving George is his son, Mitch (Denise) Freel of Rogers City; daughters, Terry Crooks of Benzonia and Georgia Houser of Norman, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. George also leaves behind sisters, Dorothy (Roger) Mercer of Traverse City, Eva (Lyle) McDonald of Tucson, Arizona, and Fern (Reginald) Hitchcock of Onaway; brothers, Arthur (Maxine) and Ron (Louise “Spike”), both of Millersburg; sisters-in-law, Gertrude, Marge, Grace and Eleanor Freel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
