Lawrence L. Losinski, 75, of Rogers Township, passed away, Saturday March 16, 2013 at his home with his family by his side after a nine-year battle with a brain tumor.
He was born on March 22, 1937 in Alpena to John and Anna (Smigelski) Losinski, raised in Long Rapids where he worked on his family farm.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann; four daug
hters, Gerri (Mark) Burye of Muskegon, Anna (Joe) St. Pierre of New Bremen, Ohio, and Gwen (Bill) Stypick and Sharon (Dennis) Meredith both of Rogers City; Papa’s 12 grandchildren, Ben (Sheila), Jennifer (Bryan), Haley (Paul), Megan (Eric), Jessica, Christin, Nicholle, Muriel, Alec, Rebecca, Sarah, and Will; great-granddaughters, Jezebel and Azalea: His loving mother Anna Losinski of Alpena; two brothers, John (Marina) of Warren and Thomas (Ann) of Alpena; a sister Julie (John) Kowalski of Alpena; two aunts, Helen Kowalski of Posen and Charlotte Tulgetske of Dublin, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made in memory of Lawrence Losinski to St. Ignatius Catholic School Athletic Fund or Hospice of Michigan.
