Idalski, Pflug top RCHS Class of 2013

Rogers City High School (RCHS) is proud to announce 21 honor students that will lead the Class of 2013 in commencement this June. Thirty-five students will become alumni of RCHS on graduation day.

Valedictorian Brooklyn Idalski (3.9385) will lead the class. The daughter of Joel and Robin Idalski is an active member of the Key Club, National Honor Society (NHS), Educational Talent Search (ETS), the student council and the Presque Isle County Teenage Republicans.

Idalski has participated in volleyball, basketball and softball for the Hurons all four years of her high school career. She also enjoys playing the violin and spending time with her friends.

After graduating from RCHS she plans to attend Michigan State University (MSU) to pursue a degree in the medical field.

Salutatorian Daniel Pflug (3.92) is the son of Chris and Athena Pflug. He enjoys playing sports, running, reading, playing music on his trumpet and guitar and hanging out with his friends. He has been involved with football, cross country, wrestling and track for the Hurons.

Pflug plans to attend a four-year university in the fall to study physics or nuclear engineering.
