Ida F. Taylor gently gathered from this life after 91 years into the presence of God February 21, 2013. She and her husband Jack have resided at American House (Sunnybank) Assisted Living since 2011. Ida was born on her family’s farm in Moltke Township near Rogers City March 30, 1921 to Paul and Amanda (Voss) Lietzow.

p>Ida is survived by her husband, Jack; daughters, Carol Laniewicz and Janet (Thom) Blanck; grandchildren, Kristie Dickinson, Thom Blanck Jr. (Carrie), John Blanck (Cathy) and Tinh Nguyen (Melissa); great-grandchildren Jack and Jenna Blanck, Finnigan, Colin and Declan Blanck, and Brook and Brandon Nguyen. Also surviving are a sister, Margaret Dyck; a brother, Rodney Lietzow; sisters-in-law, Lois Lietzow and Ruth Lietzow; a brother-in-law Garvie Locklear; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her siblings, Martha Woodruff, Adolph Lietzow, Emil Lietzow, Herbert Lietzow and Ruth Locklear.
