Grace L. O’Connor
Grace L. O’Connor, 73, of Millersburg, died at home on Friday February 1, 2013 after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Born in Flint on April 22, 1939, Grace was the daughter of James D. and Freda M. (Wright) O’Connor.
Surviving is Grace’s lifetime partner and best friend, Gwen Hoeft of Millersburg; sister, Kay Ann Perry of Holly; nieces, Denise and Renee; and nephew, Troy; as well as, Gwen’s sons, Galyn Hoeft of Alpena, Gregory and Grant Hoeft of Millersburg; Gwen’s daughter, Grace Hoeft of Alpena; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her little dog, “Corky” who held such a special place in Grace’s heart. Grace was preceded in death by her father, James D. O’Connor, her mother, Freda (Wright) Middleton, and stepfather, Dusty Middleton.
