Chamber honors Melissa Fleis at banquet

Melissa Fleis sparkled on her “Day” in at the Rogers City Area Chamber of Commerce annual banquet. The “Project Runway” finalist shined as she told about her time on the Lifetime reality show, where she made the top four.

Melissa spoke of growing up in Rogers City and what it took to get this far in her fashion career.

“It is really important to remember that you have to follow your dreams, no matter what your dream is,” Fleis said. “Whatever your heart tells you to do you have to do it, so you don’t regret it the rest of your life. That is what I’ve started doing in my life.”

She took time to answer questions from the audience and later stayed to sign autographs and greet friends.
