Winds hit hard along shoreline

High winds at the beach made for a rough surf Tuesday morning in Rogers City. Winds were reported to be around 70 miles per hour near Port Huron, the strongest in Michigan.

Winds from Superstorm Sandy were expected to cause erosion along the Lake Huron shoreline, but will subside later in the day.
