Jerome D. Kowalski age 72 of Metz passed away suddenly on July 21, 2012 at home.
He was born October 30, 1939 in Rogers City to Joseph and Anna (Grochowski).
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris; six children, Linda (Charlie Chojnacki) Meeder of Fowlerville, Debbie (Robert) St. Clair of Alaska, Karen (Andrew Darga) Kowal
ski of Kinsley, Kristine (Jason) Chalupniczak of Petoskey, Lori (Steve) Redes of Petoskey and Jerome Kowalski of Hawks; 14 grandchildren, Krystle and Matthew Styma, Whitney and Chelsea Meeder, Caliah Kowalski, Austin and Brooke Redes, Mercedes, Elizabeth and Noah Kowalski, Brendon and Peyton Chalupniczak, and Ethan and Anna St. Clair; two great-grandsons, Harvey Calloway and Hayden McConnell. He is also survived by his 102-year-old mother, Anna Kowalski; a brother, Harry Kowalski; two sisters, Teresa Haske and Margie Paulk. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; a brother, Eugene; and a sister, Betty.
