Sallie L. Beatty
Sallie L. Beatty, 72, a lifelong resident of Onaway, died Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Tendercare Health Center in Rogers City.
Sallie, the daughter of Clifton and Dorothy (Barager) Cochran, was born March 5, 1940 in Indian River. She married Ronald C. Beatty August 1, 1959 in St. Paul Catholic Church in Onaway.
Surviving are Sallie’s husband of nearly 53 years, Ron Beatty of Onaway; two sons, Mike (Sharri) Beatty of Allen and Mark Beatty of Onaway; her adored grandchildren, Nicklaus, Mitchell, and Jacquelyn; two sisters, Sandra Freel of Millersburg and Rebecca (Alger) Arkwood of Onaway; four brothers, Ronald (Theresa) Comfort of Atlanta, Donald (Janice) Comfort of Onaway, Everett Comfort of Warren and Nicky (Ann) Comfort of Waterford; and many nieces and nephews.
