George LaForest Robbins, 86, of New Harbor, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Newton Center, Massachusetts October 10, 1925, the son of the late Donald and Mildred Moody Robbins.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Lee Robbins of New Harbor, Maine; his four sons, Reid Miner and his wife Mary of Cary, North Carolina, David Robbins and his wife Linda of St. Louis, Missouri, Jay Miner and his wife Mauri of Seattle, Washington, James Mi
ner and his wife Yana Tishchenko of New Harbor, Maine; Zoe Miner of Fairfax, Cailfornia; a sister Robbie “Dottie” Stewart of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Gregory Miner and his wife Alissa Patterson of Sydney, Australia, Sara Miner and her husband Ben Hubbard of Washington, D.C., Emily Robbins of China, Natalie Olala and her husband Herve of China, Elliott Robbins and his wife Hannah of Vienna, Illinois, Justin Miner of Los Angeles, California and Jeremy Miner of Los Angeles; great-grandchildren Lachlan and Isabella Miner and Scarlett Robbins; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
