Baby Nash?s reign comes to an end

The reign of 2010 Advance New Year?s Baby comes to an end for Nash William Donajkowski, who is the son of Nicholas and Megan Donajkowski of Posen. Nash literally will ride out on the toy John Deere tractor he received for Christmas, while getting ready for his first birthday Jan. 13.

Nash is a good natured 11 month-old boy, who is surrounded by a storm of commotion created by his two excitable sisters; Shelby, 5, and Mallory, 4. ?He’s very mellow,? said Megan, after the girls made him laugh with their rendition of ?Puff the Magic Dragon.? ?He’s very tolerant.? Nash is coasting along furniture and is just about ready for that next major milestone: his first steps. He’s likes to point at things, touch people’s teeth, but also has a mischievous side and feels the need to sweep stuff off the living room coffee table with his arm.

?I LIKE to play with him, and I like when he laughs,? said Mallory. The much more shy Shelby, who wanted another sister back in January, now says Nash is ?cute.? ?He’s definitely a ladies’ man,? said Nicholas. ?He’s a little flirt, and a very happy kid. And, everybody says he looks like Dad.? The family took advantage of the many gifts from area merchants. The grandparents are Leonard and Irene Donajkowski of Posen and William and Janet Kuznicki of Rogers City. Nash’s great-grandparents are William and Ellen Kuznicki of Ravenna and Julia Donajkowski of Posen. The wait begins Saturday for the Advance?s 2011 New Year?s baby. Again, the baby?s parents will be showered with gifts from caring merchants.
