PI Sheriff?s Dept. investigating shooting

At 3:38 a.m. on Nov. 17 Presque Isle County central dispatch received a 9-1-1 call from a resident of North Allis Township. The female resident reported that a male subject was beating on her door and had broken a window out and was trying to gain entry into the house.

The matter was brought to a halt when another resident inside the same household procured a firearm and used it to stop the entry.
