Hurons host Inland Lakes Friday

A quick score on the opening possession by St. Ignace set the tone for a high scoring contest in the Upper Peninsula last Friday. The Saints used that to power to a 27-0 lead after the first quarter and 54-16 at halftime. Rogers City stayed even in the second half, but lost 67-30 to fall to 1-3 on the season.

Coach Mike Kosiara saw his team play better in the second half, but knows a more consistent effort is needed. The Hurons suited up 15 players for the game.

?We need to convince the players that when they do things right, both the offense and defense work,? he said. ?It takes all 11 players on every single play.?
