The top hitters follow: Bruski 2-for-3 (4 RBI), Hentkowski 2-for-3 (2 RBI, 2B), Couture 2-for-3 (2B) and Danny Stenback 2-for-3 (2B). The Vikings defeated Pickford?s stud pitching 3-1 in game one in Posen. Couture pitched solid, allowing four hits, walking only one, while striking out six. The Viking?s three runs in the first held up. ?That?s all it took with Scott?s great pitching performance,? said Kowalski. ?We played some great defense behind him.? Nathan Lenard (5 IN, 3 H, 9 W, 9 K?s) was the winning pitcher in game two. Couture was 3-for-4 with three doubles.
