Hurons blast Tigers, 45-20

Quarterback Pat Quaine walked off the field with his teammates after a 45-20 win over Alcona Friday night. Last season, the senior signal caller had to be helped off the field after a 44-7 Huron loss to the Tigers with an injury which kept him out of the next two games.

This year he ran for three touchdowns and passed for two leading the Hurons to their second win in two games.

His two TD passes came to senior wideout Chris Vogelheim, the first two receptions of his high school career. The first covered nine yards while the second, a bomb down the right sideline, went for 42 yards.

Rogers City put up 20 points in the first quarter and 18 more in the second to lead 38-14 at halftime. (Click on the video for photo highlights from the game)
