TOPS IN THE STATE!!

A perfect 59-0 record, 47 pins and 402 team points for the season, sophomore Devin Pommerenke finished his season as the best 285 pound wrestler in Division Four. Pommerenke recorded a pin in the first period of his state finals match against senior Bill Kirk of Marcellus to seal the deal.

The jubilant young man became the youngest Huron wrestler to win a state title and joins Andy Keller, Chris Rhode and two-time state champion Dylan Centala as the only Huron wrestlers to finish first in the state.
