RC advances to district championship game
The Hurons started strong and stayed on course in a 67-38 win over Whittemore-Prescott March 12 in Rogers City. Rogers City jumped out to a 7-0 lead and never trailed in the game.
Devin Ferris scored 16 points, Justin Idalski had 14 and Evan Wagner added 10 for the Hurons.
Rogers City faces Hale, who defeated Oscoda, in the finals Friday in Hale.
Posen lost its game with Johannesburg-Lewiston, 67-49 to end its season.
