Antique tractor show slated for the weekend.
The Tip of the Mitt Antique Tractor Association is sponsoring an antique tractor show at Amy?s Arena this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Friday at 7 p.m. the tractor pulls will kick off the weekend filled with different events, wrapping up with a pork sandwich dinner and tractor parade on Sunday afternoon.
Saturday is a day packed full of events. Gates to the arena open at 9 a.m. and the events start at 10 a.m. with DYNO, a machine that will measure engine torque and rotations per minute to calculate the horsepower of the tractors, and a tractor parade at 11 a.m.
A pig roast will run from noon until 1 p.m. followed by draft horse pulls at 2 p.m. A raffle drawing and tractor safari are scheduled for 5 p.m. followed by tractor games at 6 p.m. and music at 7 p.m.
The gates open at 9 a.m. Sunday for the final day of the show. Gospel music will run from 9:15 until 10:30 a.m. when tractor games will begin. A pork sandwich dinner will be served at noon and a final tractor parade at 1:30 p.m. will wrap up the show.
