Rogers City, Posen students to graduate this weekend
Both Posen and Rogers City high schools will graduate their Class of 2007 this weekend, with all of the pomp and circumstance due the honored young people. According to assistant administrator Dru Milliron, 29 PHS will graduate at commencement Friday at 7:30 p.m. RCHS principal Deb Jones said there are 64 candidates for graduation set for Sunday at 2 p.m. Father Paul Grala, associate pastor from St. Casimir Catholic Church, will give the invocation shortly after the seniors are ushered into the Posen gymnasium. That will be followed by salutatory and valedictory addresses. The valedictorian is Jason Romel, while the salutation is Thomas Hentkowski.
A video presentation, produced by Tiffany Oliver, also will be shown. Kenneth Wozniak, board of education president, will award the diplomas. Class officers include Jennifer Ciarkowski, president; Brittany Styma, vice president; Roxann Hincka, secretary; and Sara Zakshesky, treasurer. Student council representatives are Michelle Mulka, Amanda Novak, Kristin Stricker, and Zakshesky. The class advisor is Glenn Budnick.

Class officers for RCHS are Heather Szumila, president, Tricia Kamyszek, vice-president, Christine Meharg, secretary, Tricia Frost, treasurer, while Szumila, Kapala, Kamyszek, and Dana Fairbanks served as class representatives to the student council. Karl Grambau is class sponsor.
