Hurons top Vikings in battle at Gilpin

A game-saving interception by senior cornerback Jordan Claus stopped a late Viking drive in the Hurons’ 20-12 win at Gilpin Field Friday. Claus, who had scored the go-ahead touchdown moments before, stepped in front of a Jason Romel pass with minutes left in the fourth quarter to stop a drive, sparked by Romel’s 31 yard pass to Matt Styma.
