CHICAGO performed at Rogers City Theater

The final performance of CHICAGO Monday ended a five-day run for the show. Produced by the Rogers City Community Theater, co-directors Heather Nordenbrock and Pennie Kelly had the cast finely tuned for an entertaining show. Kelly and Nordenbrock had the leads of Roxie and Velma, two murderesses who fight for their freedom, with the assistance of flamboyant attorney Billy Flynn, played by Charlie Harp. The crowd responded to the songs and comedy of the show, as they were taken from the opening number ?All That Jazz? to the close of the play and the trial of Roxie.

Additional cast members included, in order of appearance: Morgan Suszek, Chris Flewelling, Elaine Heidemann, Karl W. Heidemann, Sheela Welch Allum, Taylor Powell, Sam Kelly, Anna Kamyszek, Danielle Farmer, Meghan Harp, Tricia Frost, Brittney Hoffman, Robert D. McMaster, Nicole Grulke, Riconda Lamb, Wesley Eagleson, and Katie Gabara.

John Schubert conducted the band, which stayed on stage for the entire show. Band members included Charlotte Heidemann, Terry Habermehl, Yvonne Brege, Dave Nickel, Justin Modrzynski, Del Conley, Wendy Peters, Vanina Chavarri, and Jeff Kuznicki. The crew included sound technical Mike Klann, lighting technician Danielle Carter, and Mike Idalski, Krystal Haske, and Dan Nordenbrock on spotlights.

Meghan Harp served as music director and helped choreograph the show along with Heather Nordenbrock and Pennie Kelly. Tricia Frost choreographed the tap dance. The sets were designed by Karl W. Heidemann and were built by Heidemann, Chris Flewelling, Charlie and Meghan Harp, Charlotte Heidemann, Gary Schulwitz, and Ruth Sloane. Marsha Schulwitz and Janet Lamb handled ticket sales.
