Chamber member Joe Libby has been spearheading the effort and helped organize tournaments in Hillman and Rogers City. ?There are a lot of players out there,? Libby said.

He said there were more than 70 players in Rogers City and 142 in Hillman. The winner of the Hillman tournament was Jason Larson of Onaway.

?It?s a simple enough game that people can learn and play, and there are books out there for them to learn,? said Libby. The tournament starts at 3 p.m. Libby said players need to pre-register at 733-2683.

There also will be a door prize of a trip for two to Las Vegas.
