(BATTLE CREEK) — Rogers City wrestlers are going where no Huron wrestling team has gone before, to the semifinals in the MHSAA Division 4 team wrestling bracket. After a 42-21 pasting of Bangor (20-10) Friday the Hurons (24-4) take on Bronson (19-2), a 57-18 winner over New Lothrop in their quarterfinal match.

Saturday’s semifinal will begin at 9:30 a.m. from the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek. Should the Hurons get by Bronson, they will go to the finals at 5 p.m. Saturday. The matches will be broadcast on WVXA 96.7 with Erik Nadolsky handling the play by play.

In the other brackets Addison (37-1) beat Whittemore (23-11) 39-24 and Hesperia (37-0) defeated Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central (21-9).
