Forest Park ends Posen?s playoff run

Crystal Falls Forest Park (11-1) took advantage of good field position and breaks in its 56-20 defeat of Posen (8-4) last Friday at the Superior Dome in Marquette. The Trojans scored 20 unanswered points in the first quarter-and-a-half to take control of the game. The Vikings, who had never won back-to-back playoff games until this season, countered with a touchdown run by Matt Ponik to make it 20-6 in the second quarter, but Ponik went down with a knee injury on the two point conversion attempt and didn’t return.
