Men?s Nautical Softball Tournament title up for grabs

The Nautical Festival Men’s Softball Tournament is ready for action beginning at 8:30 a.m. on four fields: Rogers City Sports Park (the Hole); Little League Field; Hawks; and Posen. While the number of teams has increased from last year, defending champ, Cal’s Pizza of Sterling Heights will not be back. The runner up from last year’s tournament, Sport Factory will be in the running though. The tournament will start with 31 teams.

Here’s a look at the schedule for the opening games Saturday: 8:30 a.m. Hole — Detroit Gem (Detroit) vs. International Bar (Rogers City)

Little League — Outlaws (St. Johns) vs. Gorlewski/Grulke (RC)

Hawks — Miller Lite (Alpena) vs. Chuck’s Well (Hawks)

Posen — Greka’s (RC) vs. Kleiber’s Concrete Pump (Hawks)

9:30 a.m. Hole — Myles Insurance (Tawas) vs. Barely Legal (RC) Litttle League — Artic Cat (Imlay City) vs. Onaway Bar (Onaway)

Hawks — Crew Cats (Boyne City) vs. Great Lakes Forest Products (Petoskey)

Posen — Blackstone (Mount Pleasant) vs. Irish Pub (Oscoda)
